Answer:

Technology C

Explanation:

Total Cost = Fixed Cost + Variable cost * (Number of Units)

Total Cost for Technology A = $80000 + $2.20*(100,000 units)

Total Cost for Technology A = $300,000

Total Cost for Technology B = $120,000 + $1.85*(100,000 units)

Total Cost for Technology B = $305,000

Total Cost for Technology C = $130,000 + $1.65*(100,000 units)

Total Cost for Technology C = $195,000

Conclusion: The minimum total cost for 100,000 Unit is for process technology C, Hence this technology would be recommended

Spears Co. had net sales of $53,404 million. Its average total assets for the period were $16,302 million. Spears' total asset t
liraira [26]
Given:
net sales = 53,404,000,000
Average total assets = 16,302,000,000

Total asset turnover is calculated by divided net sales by the average total assets.

Total asset turnover = net sales / average total assets
T.A.O = 53,404,000,000 / 16,302,000,000
T.A.O = 3.2759 OR 3.3

The total asset turnover indicates the company's ability to efficiently deploy its asset in generating revenue.

IRISSAK [1]

At the Warren Technology center there is constant use of participative counseling towards workers. The company also is in charge of providing health care, dental plan expenses, food bonuses and money bonuses in short periods of 3-4 months. Workers inside Warren Technology enjoy their work; many paid employees affirm that the supervisors and managers are strict but friendly and they enjoy the presence of other workers. Also, participative counseling is mostly used inside the work place. Many employees that work inside the factory have sometimes family issues, things they would like to get off their chest, unresolved issues, etc. So, imposing inside Warren Technology a healthy and active “participative counseling” area, workers can be more productive, be sane, and mentally stabilized. Many workers at Warren Technology are Latinos and Americans. Both cultures differ a lot in terms of family matters, internal relationships, morals, etc. For example: a typical Latino family matters are “We don’t have enough money”, “There are too many people living inside the household”, “The church we go to make us pay a lot of money just to attend a sermon”, “My son/daughter is out of control, they have become rebellious and we need to give them more discipline”, “My mother/father won’t stop nagging”. American culture problems are usually more different. For example: an American will usually say “My wife and I don’t give each other as much love as we used to”, “The kids are all grown up and out of the house”, “I am so depressed and lonely”, “I need a partner”, etc. By providing competent and experienced personnel the workers feel more lifted in spirit, they enjoy their work more, and are glad they have a free service that can listen to their problems and give solemn positive and professional advice. Managers and supervisors from Warren Technology keep their eyes alert to see if any worker may feel down or may be in need of some emotional type of assistance. Once a manager or supervisor notices a pattern that is continuous they send the worker into participative counseling to help with their problems. While counseling the counselors need to make sure not to get too attached to the workers and employees, they need to maintain a distance so they won’t get emotionally attached to the employees that may come in or out of the office very frequently. A security agreement can sometimes be made in order to keep the workers case a secret, for personal records or sometimes it can be sold with the consent of the worker in order to give it to study labs and research facilities. A development plan is made between managers/supervisors and the staff who work as counselors in order to see what the workers need, how to make the job easier for everyone, and most importantly the way to help workers in the most efficient and effective way possible. Feedback mechanisms are also provided but in order to organize problems, projects, etc. Both employees and counselors need to cooperate together in order to make things fair and easier for everyone working inside Warren Technology. The same I myself would like to follow these same processes and procedures just as Warren Technology provide since they are very effective as well as productive and efficient and all the workers are very joyful and happy to work in this particular environment no matter in what department they are supposed to work in.

Hope this helps you :)

Sales of hot dogs at the corner of 24th and Lex. follow the following patterns: 40% of the days, 80 are sold; 50% of the days, 9
Korvikt [17]

Answer: 90%

Explanation:

Cycle Service Level refers to the expected probability by which a manufacturer meets the demand for a particular product and is not being stockout.

In this case,

40% of the days, 80 are sold;

50% of the days, 90 are sold

10% of the days; 100 are sold.

Since the vendor plans to stock 90 each day, then the vendor will meet demand during 40% of the days, when 80 are sold; and during 50% of the days, when 90 are sold.

Therefore, the expected CSL is the vendor targeting will be:

= 40% + 50%

= 90%

2. You are the human resources manager for a famous retailer and are trying to convince the president of the company to change t
Colt1911 [192]

The goal of any reasonable firm is to optimize its earnings. Providing incentives to the workers is one of the management methods to induce maximum effort from them in order to achieve the objective of the firm.In the present structure of employee settlement where the retail personnel is paid a fixed wage of $20 per hour, there's no reward for the retail sales staff to push more difficult for the sales and increase the profits. There is no penalty on them in case the sales go down and the profits are negatively affected.In the proposed worker compensation structure where each of the retail personnel is paid 1 percent of the shop's daily revenues over and above a fixed wage of $10 per hour, the staff is motivated to work harder to increase the sales and the profits of the firm. Each of the retail staff members then will be motivated by self-interest and devise methods to increase their productivity so that they can maximize their everyday compensation. Hence, by taking care of their self-interest, they will indirectly help in attaining the company's objective of maximizing its daily earnings to $25,000 per shop.
