Who designed the liberty bell
PilotLPTM [1.2K]
It was not a single person that contributed to this American icon. The founder of Pennsylvania city, W. Penn, brought the bell tower in 1751. However, Isaac Norris ordered the bell from Thomas Lester in London. Because the bell had a crack at the arrival, and there was no sound, the authorities asked for a recast. John Pass and John Stow were two Londoners who recast the Bell of Liberty.
