No problemo dude. So what do you know about sin θ·cot θ? Well, cot θ = cosθ/sinθ. Hence, the sin θ cancels out and what do you know? You are solving for cos θ. Now, you know that the quadrant is II (2). Hence, cos is also negative. So, tan θ = opp/adj = -(5/12). So, cos θ = adj/hyp which is just -12/13.

A wall takes 10 seconds to strike 6.how much time will it take to strike 12?
andriy [413]
I think it is 20 seconds because when you multiply six times x, you get twelve. And in this case, the x equals two. So, because you multiplied two to six, you do the same thing to the ten seconds, which is twenty. Sorry if this is the wrong answer.

I need help with number 1
Sophie [7]
Changing those words into an equation, we get:
7+3x = 19
Subtract both sides by 7
3x = 12
Divide both sides by 3
x = 4
That number is 4. Have a nice day! :)
