30.66pi ft³

First, we need to find the volume of the cylinder using the following equation

V = r^2h\pi \\V = (2^2)5\pi \\V = (4)5\pi \\V = 20\pi

The volume of the cylinder is 20pi

Next, we need to find the volume of a sphere. Since the cylinder is divided in half by the cylinder, we can use the following equation as if it were whole

V = \frac{4}{3} r^3\pi \\V = \frac{4}{3} 2^3\pi \\V = \frac{4}{3} 8\pi \\V = 10\frac{2}{3} \pi

The volume of both half spheres is 10.66pi

Now we can add both together to get 30.66pi ft³

What is the answer???
bonufazy [111]
First, change one of the equations to an y=x form I'll use the top one for example.
3x-2y=14
-2y=14-3x
y=-7+(3/2)x
Not that you can show what y is in terms of x, plug in the x side of the equation into the other equation, for y.
x+2(-7+(3/2)x)=10
Now, you can solve for x
x-14+3x=10
4x-14=10
4x=24
x=6
Using this value of x, we can now solve for y using one of the original equations.
(6)+2y=10
2y=4
y=2
