If you mean 6 neutrons than the atomic number would be 5 and the atomic mass would be 10.8. Otherwise I do not know what else it could possibly be

Given the following equation: 2h20=2h2+02 how many grams of o2 are produced if 3.6 grams of h20 react?
inn [45]

Answer:

3.2 g O₂

Explanation:

To find the mass of O₂, you need to (1) convert grams H₂O to moles H₂O (via molar mass), then (2) convert moles H₂O to moles O₂ (via mole-to-mole ratio from reaction coefficients), and then (3) convert moles O₂ to grams O₂ (via molar mass). It is important to arrange the ratios/conversions in a way that allows for the cancellation of units (the desired unit should be in the numerator). The final answer should have 2 sig figs to reflect the sig figs of the given value (3.6 g).

Molar Mass (H₂O): 2(1.008 g/mol) + 15.998 g/mol

Molar Mass (H₂O): 18.014 g/mol

2 H₂O -----> 2 H₂ + 1 O₂

Molar Mass (O₂): 2(15.998 g/mol)

Molar Mass (O₂): 31.996 g/mol

3.6 g H₂O         1 mole               1 mole O₂           31.996 g
----------------  x  ---------------  x  ---------------------  x  ---------------  = 3.2 g O₂
                         18.014 g          2 moles H₂O          1 mole

9) Give the set of four quantum numbers that could represent the extra electron added (using the Aufbau principle) to the neutra
Pie

Answer:

See explanation

Explanation:

9) If an extra electron is added to the neon atom, then the electronic configuration becomes; 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s1

This last electron has quantum numbers;

n=3, l=0, m=0 and s = +1/2

This is so because the 2s level is already filled so the extra electron must go into the 3s level. The orbital quantum number and the magnetic quantum number for the s orbital is zero.

10) Electron affinity is the energy released when one mole of gaseous atoms accept one mole of gaseous electrons to form one mole of gaseous ions having a negative charge.

In the second period, fluorine has the greatest electron affinity since electron affinity increases across the period. The noble gas, neon has an electron affinity of 0KJ/mol.

11) Ionization energy decreases down the group but increases across the period due to increase in the size of the nuclear charge and decrease in the distance between the nucleus and the outermost electron. Hence, the process; Br+(g) ---->Br2+(g) + e- has the greatest ionization energy. Recall that the second ionization is always higher than the first ionization energy.

12)The order of decreasing metallic character here is K> As> P. Even though As and P belong to the same group, we must note that metallic character increases down the group hence the order written above.

You find a ring with a mass of 107g . You fill a graduated cylinder up with 10ml of water and put the ring into the cylinder . T
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

5 mL

Explanation:

Given data:

mass of ring = 107 g

volume of water = 10 mL

increase in volume = 15 mL

How much water displace = ?

Solution:

V (ring) = V (water + ring) - V (water)

V (ring) = 15 mL -  10 mL

V (ring) = 5 mL

when the ring is put into cylinder, volume is increased by 15 mL. The volume of water was 10 mL so water is displaced by 5 mL and the volume 5mL is the voulme of ring.
