Answer:

1.0 mol of A should be left over.

Explanation:

We have the balanced equation:

A+2B=AB_{2}

That means that I need 1.0 mol of A for each 2.0 moles of B to obtain 1.0 mol of AB_{2}

Now, we have 3.0 moles of A and 4.0 moles of B reacting, so:

3.0 moles of A . \frac{1.0}{1.0}\frac{moles of AB_{2} }{moles of A} = 3.0 moles of AB_{2}

4.0 moles of B . \frac{1}{2} \frac{moles of AB_{2}}{moles of B} = 2.0 moles of AB_{2}

That means that with 3.0 moles of A and 4.0 moles of B, we can form 2.0 moles of AB_{2} and 1.0 mole of A should be left over.

Does the antifreeze you put in a car radiator have a lower or higher freezing point than water
saveliy_v [14]
Hello!
Antifreeze says it in the name. This means that it helps prevent freezing. The liquid that would freeze if you wouldnt use the antifreeze is water. This means that the antifreeze has to have a higher freezing point then water, because otherwise it would only freeze faster!

Hope this helped you!

A chemistry teacher adds 50.0 mL of 1.50 M H2SO4 solution to 200 mL of water. What is the concentration of the final solution? U
Aleks [24]
Hello!

The concentration of the final solution when a<span> chemistry teacher adds 50.0 mL of 1.50 M H2SO4 solution to 200 mL of water is 0,3 M

To calculate that, you'll need to use the dilution law, where initial and final concentrations are M1 and M2 respectively, and initial and final volumes are V1 and V2, as shown below. Keep in mind that the final volume is the sum of the 200 mL of water and the 50 mL of H</span>₂SO₄ that were added by the teacher.

M2= \frac{M1*V1}{V2}= \frac{1,50 (mol H_2SO_4/L)*50mL}{(50 mL + 200 mL)}=0,3(mol H_2SO_4/L)

Have a nice day!
