krek1111 [17]
The control group is the type of tomato the plants are.
The independent variable is the type of music played.
The dependent variable is Plant A and B's growth.
His conclusion should be that music does not affect the growth of tomatoes.
He should make sure both plants were getting the same amount of water, soil, light, seed, and fertilizer so that can't affect the tomatoes in any way.

What happens when scientists find new evidence that does not fit with their old theory? A. They change their old theories. B. Th
SashulF [63]

Answer:

Explanation:Until the past decade, scientists, research institutions, and government agencies relied solely on a system of self-regulation based on shared ethical principles and generally accepted research practices to ensure integrity in the research process. Among the very basic principles that guide scientists, as well as many other scholars, are those expressed as respect for the integrity of knowledge, collegiality, honesty, objectivity, and openness. These principles are at work in the fundamental elements of the scientific method, such as formulating a hypothesis, designing an experiment to test the hypothesis, and collecting and interpreting data. In addition, more particular principles characteristic of specific scientific disciplines influence the methods of observation; the acquisition, storage, management, and sharing of data; the communication of scientific knowledge and information; and the training of younger scientists.1 How these principles are applied varies considerably among the several scientific disciplines, different research organizations, and individual investigators.

Which way would CCI2F2 orient in an electric field?
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

See explanation

Explanation:

In looking at molecules to determine whether they are polar or not we have to look at two things basically;

i) presence of polar bonds

ii) geometry of the molecule

Now, we know that CCI2F2 is a tetrahedral molecule, but the molecule is not symmetrical. It has four polar bonds that are not all the same hence the molecule is polar.

In an electric field, polar molecules orient themselves in such a way that  the positive ends of the molecule are being attracted to the negative plate while the negative ends of the molecules are attracted to the positive plate.

So the positive ends of CCI2F2  are oriented towards the negative plate of the field while the negative ends of CCI2F2 are oriented towards the positive ends of the field.
