The correct answer would be D. An increase in the temperature will result to an increase in the pressure inside a sealed container of gas. Temperature is directly related to the kinetic energy. More kinetic energy, more motion of the molecules thus more pressure on the container. This can also be seen in the ideal gas equation which is expressed as PV = nRT.

Vsevolod [243]
K and Br can form an ionic bond. Since potassium is a metal (has a small electronegativity) and bromine is a nonmetal (has a large electronegativity), potassium can give an electron to bromine creating potassium bromide.

I hope this helps. Let me know if anything is unclear.

Alexandra [31]
Answer is: the volume of water after the solid is added is 4.5 ml.
d(gold) = 8.0 g/cm³; density of gold.
m(gold) = 4 g; mass of gold.
V(gold) = m(gold) ÷ d(gold); volume of gold.
V(gold) = 4 g ÷ 8 g/cm³.
V(gold) = 0.5 cm³ = 0.5 ml.
V(water) = 4.00 ml = 4.00 cm³.
V(flask) = V(gold) + V(water).
V(flask) = 0.5 cm³ + 4 cm³.V = 4.5 cm³.
