Yes you answered everything correctly,but the last question...In order to solve this problem problem,you have to make 15 into a decimal (which would be 0.150) and you would have to multiply that by your cost.That will give you $45.00 Now you have to subtract $300 minus $45.00 (this is when the discount comes into place.) which will get you $255.00 now if you want to now how much you are paying of the total cost simply, subtract 100% to 15% now you got 85.000% (what does this mean?!) this means that you should change that into decimal form which you should know how to do and that will get you 0.850 and then once you multiply that by $300 you will get the same result as before!! $255.00 and in my opinion,I like to fully make sure I check my work my doing all the steps I told you so I could make sure my answer is correct! :)

Write an equation of the line satisfying the given conditions. Through (2, -5), parallel to 5x 6y + 7
mojhsa [17]

We have to determine the equation of the line passing through the point (2,-5) and parallel to the line 5x = 6y+7

When two lines are parallel, then the slopes of the two lines are equal.

Equation of line with point (x_1, y_1) and slope 'm' is given by:

(y-y_1) = m(x-x_1)

Since, we have to determine the equation of a line with point (2,-5).

So, the equation of the line is : (y-(-5)) = m(x-2)

y+5 = m(x-2)

Since, the line is parallel to the line 5x = 6y+ 7

So, 6y +7 = 5x

6y = 5x - 7

y = \frac{5}{6}x - \frac{7}{6}

So, slope of the line  'm' is \frac{5}{6}.

Therefore, the equation of the line is:

(y+5) = \frac{5}{6}(x-2)

6y + 30 = 5x - 10

6y - 5x = -10-30

6y - 5x = -40

Therefore, 6y - 5x = -40 is the required equation of the line.

Find f(-1) if f(x) = -3x - 5<br><br><br> Choices <br><br> A. -9 <br> B. -8<br> C. -2<br> D. 2
GenaCL600 [577]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

All you have to do is plug in -1 for x in the equation

f(-1)= -3(-1)-5

-3 times -1 = 3

Then you need to subtract 5 leaving it to be 3-5 = -2

Therefore the answer is C. - 2
