The central nervous system is so-called because it affects everything in your body. Moreover, the evolution of biology results in something familiar to computer programmers, something which looks a lot like “growth by bug fix”. The result is a highly interdependent system, the components of which cannot be easily teased apart from the others without breaking something, many times fatally. That aside, the nervous system is traditionally divided up between the central nervous system (brain and spinal column) and the periphery nervous system (gut and the extended nervous system). There is some debate whether the gut should be declared a third major component of the nervous system, independent of but highly integrated with the brain through such conduits as the vagus nerve bundles.

Answer:

The nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord, sensory organs, and all of the nerves that connect these organs with the rest of the body. Together, these organs are responsible for the control of the body and communication among its parts.

Likurg_2 [28]

Answer: Coenzymes

Explanation:

Coenzymes are the small organic molecules that are often derived from the vitamins. It can be tightly or loosely bond to the enzymes.

Tighly bond ones are the prothestic groups and loosely bond ones are coenzymes like the products and substrate which binds to the enzyme and get released from it.

This component is very important for any reaction to take place. It bonds to the enzymes and helps in product formation.

agonists generally _______ activity at the synapse while antagonists generally ______ activity at the synapse.
ki77a [65]

Agonists activate the receptor thereby increasing activity at the synapse while antagonists generally prevent agonists from activating the receptors thereby decreasing activity at the synapse.

 • An agonist is the component that has the ability to increase the activity carried out by another substance.

 • The agonists work from their faculty of coupling to a cell-type receptor, in this way, they manage to generate a certain action in the cell.

 • The antagonists are the compounds that cause the opposite when they bind to the receptor, they cause a blockade by decreasing the activation of a synaptic receptor.

Therefore, we can conclude that agonists are compounds capable of increasing the action of synapse and blockers (antagonists) decrease activity at the synapse.
