Answer:

Computers make people's lives easier and more comfortable: they provide opportunities for staying in touch to billions of people who may very well be in different parts of the world. Today people can drive computerized cars and work for employers from other countries without even seeing them.

A computer in my world today has become a necessity. From schoolwork to research projects and many other important things that I need. If I didn’t have a computer today all of my schoolwork would be hand written and it would be much harder to do research projects when you can’t just look something up. So from a scale from 1 to 10 a computer would be 100

What is the maximum value of the electric field in an electromagnetic wave whose average intensity is 4.50 w/m2 ?
Oksi-84 [34.3K]
Average intensity of electromagnetic wave is given by

I= (speed of light*permittivity*sq. electric field)/2

Speed of light = 3x10^8 m/s
Permittivity = 8.85x10^-12

Therefore,
Electric field = sqrt (2I/ (speed of light xpermittivity)) = sqrt ((2*4.50)/(3*10^8*8.85*10^-12)) = 58.22 V/m

An ice-skater is moving at a constant velocity across an icy pond, The skater throws a snowball directly ahead.
Murljashka [212]

Answer:

(D) It is equal to the original velocity of the skater.

Explanation:

The velocity of the center of mass of a system is

\vec{v}_{cm} = \frac{m1\vec{v}_1 + m_2\vec{v}_2}{m_1 + m_2}

The velocity of the center of mass is constant if there is no external force, because the total momentum of the whole system is conserved.

So, before the snowball is thrown, the velocity of the center of mass is equal to that of the skater. This velocity will always be equal to the velocity of the center of mass of the system.

Which of the following statements are true with regard to resistivity?
siniylev [52]

Resistivity is material property. It depends only on temperature. For the same material with different length and area, resistivity remains the same until temperature remains constant.
