Difference between sold and liquid
Tcecarenko [31]

Explanation:

Solids have closely packed particles and vibrate about a fixed position, they also have a fixed volume.

liquid have close particles but which are able to move with a bit of kinetic energy, for this reason they have no fixed volume but take the volume of the container or vessel

How does kinetic energy affect the stopping distance of a small vehicle compared to a large vehicle?
Vilka [71]
Well, I may not know the exact answer, but I can confirm because of mass. The more mass an object has, the less control you have on it, so it can't be stopped easily. Let's take a small rock and a boulder for example. When a small rock rolls on the ground, it can easily be stopped by your hand or foot. But when you have to deal with an enormous boulder, you can't easily stop it with one just person. You'll need more people. So the answer is because the smaller vehicle has a lesser mass than the larger vehicle. (if you are looking for the answer, just look at the end.

A room has a volume of 160 m3. An air-conditioning system is to replace the air in this room every 21.3 minutes, using ducts tha
serious [3.7K]

Answer:

A. 0.204203928 m

b. 0.1443939822

Explanation:

Givens:

Volume (V) = 160 m^3

velocity 1 (v1) = 3.00 m/s

velocity 2 (v2) = 6.00 m/s

Time (t) = 21.3 minutes = 1278 seconds

Side length = ?

V = A*v*t

A = s^2

V = s^2*v*t

s= \sqrt{\frac{V}{v*t} }

A.

s = \sqrt{\frac{V}{v*t} } = \sqrt{\frac{160}{3.00*1278} } = 0.204203928 m

B.

s = \sqrt{\frac{V}{v*t} } = \sqrt{\frac{160}{6.00*1278} } = 0.1443939822 m

I hope this helped!! Have a good day.

A quarterback throws a football with an angle of elevation 55° and speed 60 ft/s. Find the horizontal and vertical components o
EastWind [94]

Answer:

The horizontal component of the velocity vector is;

vh = 34.4 ft/s

The vertical component of the velocity vector is;

vy = 49.1 ft/s

Explanation:

Given;

Velocity of football v = 60 ft/s

Angle of elevation ∅ = 55°

The horizontal component of the velocity vector is;

vh = vcos∅

Substituting the values;

vh = 60cos55°

vh = 34.41458618106 ft/s

vh = 34.4 ft/s

The vertical component of the velocity vector is;

vy = vsin∅

Substituting the values;

vy = 60sin55°

vy = 49.14912265733 ft/s

vy = 49.1 ft/s
