Let x the number od milles travelled, since the taxi charge $2 per mille, multiplying this by the miles travelled (x) will yield the cost of the taxi ride as far as how far it took you

2x

Then adding this amount to the cost of the taxi ($4) bcz is the set fee, it will give you the total cost of the taxi ride (that should be less (<) than $20)

2x + 4 < 20

To graph the Inequality, we have to clear variable "x"

2x+4\ \textless \ 20
\\ 2x\ \textless \ 20-4
\\2x\ \textless \ 16
\\\\x\ \textless \ \frac{16}{2}
\\\\x\ \textless \ 8

Write the rational number as a decimal. Show your work. 5/9 -3/8 -3/11.
Bad White [126]

I have memorized facts about fractions like these, so can tell you ...

\dfrac{5}{9}=0.5\overline{5}\\\\-\dfrac{3}{8}=-3\times 0.125=-0.375\\\\-\dfrac{3}{11}=-0.27\overline{27}

_____

A fraction with 9 as a denominator is a repeating 1-digit decimal with the decimal digit being the numerator of the fraction.

A fraction with 11 as a denominator is a repeating 2-digit decimal with the two digits being 9 times the numerator of the fraction.

1/8 = 0.125, so any multiple of 1/8 is that multiple of 0.125.

This is 70 points I will report anyone who answers wrong just for points! I will be asking TWO questions Please answer correctly
Ratling [72]

QUESTION 1: In these type of question, the easiest way to get the answer is try to plug in the x and y values from the options given in the equation given, So in the first question all the choice except C are more then 14 if you plug in x and y's, for eg, if you plug in x = 3 and y = 2 , you get (3+3)2 = 14 6 x 2 = 14 12 is not equal to 14, so this eliminates this choice but if you chose C you get, (11+3)1 = 14 14 = 14 so this makes C the solution for first question and for the second question do the same thing, and the answer will be D. Hope this helps

QUESTION 2: 5xy + 9 = 44

5xy = 35

xy = 7

solution pairs are:

C. (1, 7) and (7, 1)

not mentioned: (-1.-7) and (-7, -1)

Hope this helps

Round 51.65 to the nearest whole number
sweet [91]
51.65 to the nearest whole number

After the whole number 51, the next digit is 6, and since this is more than 5. So we round up the 51 to 52.

51.65 ≈ 52 to the nearest whole number.

geniusboy [140]

Answer:

.216165788

.582225057

.417774943

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to use a binomial distribution here

A.

10C5*.58⁵*(1-.58)⁵= .216165788

B.

I honestly think the fastest way to solve this is adding the probabiblity of exactly 6,7,8,9,10

which means we write

10C6*.58⁶*(1-.58)⁴+10C7*.58⁷*(1-.58)³+10C8*.58⁸*(1-.58)²+10C9*.58⁹*(1-.58)+10C10*.58¹⁰= .582225057

C.

To solve this just take the compliment of answer B

1-.582225057= .417774943
