Distance of the image, u = ?

Distance of the object, v = 50 cm

The formula for the focal length of a convex mirror is given by the relation

1/f = 1/u + 1/v,

where each of the parameters are exactly the same as what I've defined above. So now, if we plug in the values, we have

1/25 = 1/u + 1/50

1/u = 1/25 - 1/50

1/u = (2 - 1)/50

1/u = 1/50
