It would be $760 because is there were the same amount of tickets then you would have to divide 38 by 2 and that equals 19. adult tickets cost $23 each, so 23 times 19 equals 437 and child tickets cost $17 so 17 times 19 equals 323. add them together and you get a total of $760.

Children: $17 x 19 = 323
Adult: $23 x 19 = 437
The total cost would be $760

Answer:

  a (3,-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The number that "completes the square" is the square of half the x-coefficient, (-6/2)^2 = 9. Rearranging the given function to include the square trinomial, we have ...

  f(x) = x^2 -6x +9 -1 . . . . . . . here, we have 8 = 9 - 1

  f(x) = (x -3)^2 -1 . . . . . . . . . . vertex form

Comparing this to the generic vertex form ...

  f(x) = (x -h)^2 +k . . . . . . . vertex at (h, k)

we see that h=3 and k=-1.

The vertex is (h, k) = (3, -1).

Lincoln middle school plans to collect more than 2,000 cans of food in a food drive. So far, 668 cans have been collected. WRITE
AURORKA [14]
Let x be the unknown number.

7x + 668 < 2000     => 7x plus 668 is less than 2000

where:
7x => x represents the number of cans to be collected in 7 days
668 is the number of cans already collected.
2000 is the target number of cans.

7x + 668 < 2000
        - 668 -668
7x < 1332
÷7 ÷7
x < 190.30
or
x < 190

To check:

7x + 668 < 2000
7(190) + 668 < 2000
1330 + 668 < 2000
1998 < 2000
