1. The three level of governments of Nepal are : Federal,Provincial and Local.

2. Our head of state is Bidhya Devi Bhandari and head of government is Sher Bdr. Deuwa.

3. The head of provincial government is chief minister .

4.District Assembly means the Recipient's entity, under the supervisory authority of its ministry at the time responsible for local government, established and operating pursuant to the Recipient's Local Government Act, Chapter 22:01, and which is responsible for District governance and administration.The Head of a district development committee is elected by the district assembly. The government also appoints a Local Development Officer in each district development committee who heads the DCC in absence of an elected head or deputy head.

5.District assembly is needed :: To promote and support productive activity and social development in the district and remove any obstacles to initiative and development. To initiate programmes for the development of basic infrastructure and provide municipal works and services in the district.

The district committees were formed immediately after the local level elections in 2017. A District Coordination Committee is elected by the District Assembly, which consists of the Heads and Deputy Heads of all the rural municipalities and Mayors and Deputy Mayors of all the municipalities in the district.
