None of the drawings is not a function.

The first drawing is the graph of the function    Y = | X | - 5 .

The second drawing is the graph of the function    Y = -X² + 6 .

The third drawing is the graph of the function

                                        Y = (1/3) √ (21+7x) (21-7x) .

The fourth drawing is the graph of the function   Y = (2.5 ?) X - 6 .

They may be looking for #3 as the non-function, because it's
a "multi-valued" function, and it has a very limited domain.

... For each X-value, the function has two different y-values.

... 'X' is not allowed to ever be less than -3 or more than +3 .

All of this makes many people uncomfortable.

Simplify.<br> (WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST)
Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

\frac{\sqrt{x} }{2x}

Step-by-step explanation:

Rationalize the denominator first (keep in mind we are NOT solving this because there is no equals sign here.  We are merely simplifying.)

\frac{\sqrt{5x} }{x\sqrt{20} } *\frac{\sqrt{20} }{\sqrt{20} } =\frac{\sqrt{100x} }{20x}

Now simplify by taking the square root of 100 to get:

\frac{10\sqrt{x} }{20x}

Divide numerator and denomiator by 10 to get:

\frac{\sqrt{x} }{2x}

Which factor does the width of the peak of a normal curve depend on?
Aleks [24]
<span>The normal curve is described by a bell curved graph. The bell curved graph of a normal distribution depends on two factors: the mean and the standard deviation. The mean identifies the position of the center and the standard deviation determines the height and width of the bell. Therefore, the factor that the width of the peak of the normal curve depends on is the standard deviation.</span>

BRIANILEST!!!!Which lines are parallel? Check all that apply.
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

b║f

c║e

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a diagram,

Lines b, c, d, e, f and a transversal line 'a'.

Here line 'b' makes an angle with line 'a' is 89.5° and line 'f' makes an angle with line 'a' is also 89.5° (180°-90.5° = 89.5°)

Since corresponding angles are same.

So, line 'b' is parallel to line 'f'.

And line 'c' makes an angle with line 'a' is 91.5° and line 'e' makes an angle with line 'a' is also 91.5° (180°-88.5° = 91.5°)

Since corresponding angles are same.

So, line 'c' is parallel to line 'e'.

Therefore,

b║f

c║e

That's the final answer.
