Answer:

7.98 g of glucose are needed to prepare 399 mL of glucose solution

Explanation:

2.0 % m/v

This data represents, a sort of concentration for solutions.

It means that, our solution contains 2 g of solute, in this case glucose, which are contained by 100 mL of solution.

We only have to make a rule of three, in order to solve the question:

In 100 mL of glucose solution, we have 2 g of solute

In 399 mL of glucose solution, we may have:

(399 . 2) / 100 = 7.98 g

Why do you use the same amount of water for each shape of ice?
Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

Ice is a solid form of liquid. Water simply expands when it freezes.

The same amount of water for each shape of ice because the melting  rate of ice depends on the surface area of each shape. So the same amount of water or volume with a large surface area will remain frozen for longer time.

C3H8 + 5 O2 → 3 CO2 + 4 H2O<br> What is the number of atoms on each side of the equation?
Roman55 [17]

Answer: 1.2642*10²⁵ on both sides

Explanation:

First check how many moles are there on each side.
Since this is a balanaced equataion the number of moles on each side is the same thus the number of atoms is also same on both sides

There are 3 moles of carbon and 8 moles of hydrogen in C3H8
and 2 moles of oxygen in O2 but there 5 infront so 2*5 is 10
Number of moles on the right is 10+8+3 = 21

Now use Avogrado's constant

21 Moles* (6.02*10²³)/Mol
= 21*6.02*10²³

= 1.2642*10²⁵
