Answer:

49 π m^2 or 153.86 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for finding the area of a circle is "Area= (pi) radius^2. What is shown in the image above is the diameter; (the line that goes all the way across the circle is the diameter, the one that only goes half way across is called the radius). With that said, the radius = 1/2 of the diameter.

Steps:

1. Since we are given the diameter but need the radius for our equation, start out by dividing the diameter by 2 to get the radius. (14 divided by 2). The radius is 7.

2. Now, I'm assuming your teacher wants you to find the exact value of the area of the circle. If you are asked for the exact value, leave your answer in terms of pi. If they want an approx. answer, you can use 3.14 as pi.

3. Ok so now you want to plug in the info we found into our formula (area = (pi) radius^2). This will look like:

area = pi*7^2. --> 7^2 is the same as 7x7, aka 49.

Area = pi49.

4. This is what I was talking about earlier- for an exact area, write down 49 pi (or the pi symbol). If they want a rounded answer, multiply 49 by 3.14, which will get you 153.86.

5. Write m^2 after your answer, teachers are usually picky about units :)

I hope this was able to help <3

How do I order rational and irrational numbers from least to greatest
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer: Rational numbers are any numbers that can be expressed by a fraction with integers in both the numerator and the denominator. The amount of time and paper it takes to put them into an increasing line depends on how many numbers there are and how big of a range they have.

1.Rewrite improper fractions

An improper fraction is a fraction with a bigger numerator than denominator. These numbers can be difficult to compare. For example, numbers such as 26/7, 31/9, 12/5, 8/3 and 22/13 do not have an obvious highest or lowest term. Rewrite improper fractions as mixed numbers or as numbers with decimals. To turn an improper fraction into a decimal, divide the numerator by the denominator. If the denominator is large or a prime number greater than five, use a calculator. For example, divide the numbers 26/7, 31/9, 12/5, 8/3 and 22/13 to create 3.71, 3.44, 2.4, 2.67 and 1.69.

2.Find the highest and lowest terms

Figure out where your number line starts and ends. Put the lowest term on the far left and the highest term on the far right. Remember, negative numbers are lower than positive numbers, and the greater a negative number's distance from zero, the lower it is.

3.Mark benchmark terms

Draw a line extending through your lowest and highest points. Figure out some major points between these values and mark them on your line. For example, if your lowest number is negative 25 and your highest number is 50, find where zero and 25 would be. Mark these as benchmarks or guides.

4.Fill in the remaining numbers

Using your guides, fill in the rest of the numbers. Start with the lowest values on the left and work your way up.

A mouse scurries across your kitchen floor at 2.0 feet per second. How many miles can the mouse travel in 1.5 hours (rounded to
Mila [183]

Given

A mouse scurries across your kitchen floor at 2.0 feet per second.

Find out the mouse travel in 1.5 hours.

To proof

FORMULA

Distance = speed × time

1foot = \frac{1}{5280} miles

Convert feet per second into miles per second

= \frac{2.0}{5280}

As given in the question

Time = 1.5 hours

1 hours = 3600 second

Time convert in the second

Time = 1.5 × 3600 second

       = 5400 second

put all these value in the above formula

we get

Distance= \frac{2.0\times 1.5 \times 3600}{5280}

Distance= \frac{10800}{5280}

= 2.04 (approx) miles

= 2.0 miles

Hence proved
