1. Heredity can bring certain traits that affect your overall weight. There is a link between body weight and heredity. With activity level, the more active you are the more calories you burn and with body composition, this is a measure of how much body fat you have.

3. There are high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes for being overweight. For being underweight there are anemia and heart irregularities.

4. A fad diet is a popular diet that may help a person lose or gain weight but without proper regard for nutrition and other health issues. Two problems are they exclude important nutrients and also the weight loss achieved can be temporary.
