Justin,

I’m worried about your health, have you considered cutting the tobacco out of your life. There are so many chemicals in cigarettes that it dulls your taste buds. Don’t you want to quit just so you could taste better. Also smoking can lead to erectile disfunction so if you plan on getting married I’d try getting some nicotine gum. Short acting nicotine replacement therapies can help you overcome intense cravings. Give your mouth something to do to fight a tobacco craving. If that doesn’t work then you can try going for a jog short burst of physical activity can make a tobacco craving go away. Get out once in awhile Justin! Smoking may have been your way to deal with stress. Resisting a tobacco craving can itself be stressful. Another thing you can try is to just take the edge off stress by practicing relaxation techniques, such as deep-breathing exercises, muscle relaxation, yoga, visualization, massage or listening to calming music. Or even Join an online stop-smoking program. Or read a quitter's blog and post encouraging thoughts for someone else who might be struggling with tobacco cravings. Learn from how others have handled their tobacco cravings.

Describe the difference between anorexia and bulimia, what are some characteristics and physical signs for each.
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

The main difference between diagnoses is that anorexia is a syndrome of self-starvation involving significant weight loss of 15 percent or more of ideal body weight, whereas patients with bulimia are, by definition, at normal weight or above.

Explanation:

Individuals with bulimia often do eat throughout their daily lives, however, it may be much less than the average person eat daily, or they may go long periods of time without eating anything (say 2-3 days), then binge eat. They also find themselves with the compulsive need to purposefully induce their gag reflex, causing them to throw up. Whereas people with anorexia simply do not eat or eat very little, and sometimes have the need to exercise excessively. Bulimic people may often appear very tired, with dark circles under the eyes, or their teeth may be very yellow or look unkempt (due to the throwing up). Anorexic people appear very skinny, some may seem almost "skeleton" like, they're typically short, and wear over-sized clothing to cover themselves.

Which statement will most effectively communicate your refusal?
VladimirAG [237]

Answer:

A: I don't want to do that so no

By asking if anyone will find out, you are basically saying yes. When saying I really shouldn't do it, you are not giving a concrete refusal. It also sounds like you maybe want to. When saying your brother wouldn't want to, you are not saying no, just stating something someone else said. A would be most effective since it is a clear and concrete refusal.

Why do you think it is harder to know what someone is feeling when communicating through technology?
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

It's harder because you can't hear the emotion in their voice as if you were actually speaking to them. Someone over text could say they are fine with 17 million happy face emojis but behind there screen they could be crying. You never know. You can't see them either to read the persons face of emotion.
