A form of congenital heart defect known as Wolff-Parkinson-White  Syndrome appears when an additional portion of heart muscle creates a different electrical conduction pathway between your heart's upper and lower chambers. Then, both the additional pathway and the regular pathway are used by your heart's electrical impulses.
