6 servings = 3 people
1 cake=12 servings which feed 6 people
6/x=3/21
3x=126
x=42 servings
42 servings/12(amount of servings in a cake)=3.5. She will need to bake 4 cakes.

stiv31 [10]

If the rectangle has a fixed width of 300, it means that

2(l+w)=300 \iff l+w=150 \iff w=150-l

where w and l are width and length, respetively.

So given the length l, the are would be

l\times w = l\times (150-l)=-l^2+150l

30 + 6p = 7 (p+ 6 ) -5<br> Please answer
melamori03 [73]

Answer: p=-7

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve for p, you want to isolate the variable, get p alone. You would use different algebraic properties to do so.

30+6p=7p+42-5

30+6p=7p+37

-7=p

p=-7

sineoko [7]

Multiplication was invented to help you avoid the tedium of adding ...

... $5.25 + 5.25 + 5.25 + ... + 5.25 . . . . . a total of 207 terms

It lets us figure such a sum by computing 207 × $5.25 = $1,086.75

Carl's pay for the week will be $1086.75.
