When you are alone with an adult man who is chocking and another person has gone to get more help. You are performing abdominal thrust when the patient suddenly collapses. The next thing that you should is to perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the patient and make sure you check the mouth for any object before the rescue breath.
