Hi there! The answer is False. Once someone is addicted to something, it is very difficult to stop. Drugs and alcohol are very hard to stop, even if you have determination. Alcoholics and drug addict's bodies are used to and crave what they are addicted to. Their cravings and body reacting to the withdrawal of not having the craving satisfied often overwhelmed their sense of judgement or determination.
