What is the function of the subplate neurons? Choose the correct option.
Semmy [17]

Answer: C) The subplate neurons attract the appropriate thalamic axons to the different parts.

Explanation:

Subplate neurons are the first developed neurons can be found in the cortex of mammals. These neurons disappear during the process of postnatal development and due to functional maturation.

These neurons are sensitive to the injury, when the humans experience cognitive and motor defects.

These neurons attract the thalamic axons and receive the synaptic inputs through the thalamic axons thus helps in establishing the link between the thalamic axons and the target layer IV. The signals are distributed from the thalamic axons to different parts of the body.

How are the shapes of crowns of trees, and their location on earth, related to<br>each other?
STALIN [3.7K]

Answer:

Trees have to adapt to their environments in order to survive them, from the shape of their leaves to the size of their branches. They also have had to adapt the shape of their crowns to the kind of climate they live in so that they may have better chances at survival.

In warm areas with lots of sunlight for instance, you will see broad cones as the tree takes advantage to get as much sunlight as it can. In colder areas where snow is abundant, trees will be conical in shape so as not to gather too much snow when it falls.

Distinguish the various types of landforms formed by wind and how these landforms are created
svp [43]

One type of landform formed by wind would be sanddunes. This is the only landform I can think of formed by wind. The wind blows the sand along so that it builds up into a dune perhaps when it hits an obstacle like a small rocky spur and whole deserts can be converted into dunes.
