Total-$31.23
explaination- you multiply 2.25 x4.8 and get 10.80 and then you multiply 2.25x7.3 and get16.43 then u add 4 to each of them and add them all up 14.80+16.43=31.23 and the 4 dollars are already included

So the formula will be 4 + 2.25x and you just insert the miles in the x so 2.25 + 4 = 6.25 (4.8) = 30 and the second answer is 2.25 + 4 = 6.25 (7.3)=45.625

A three-digit number has tens digit two greater than the units digit and the hundreds digit one greater than the tens digit. The
Paha777 [63]

Answer:

875

Step-by-step explanation:

As given, there is a three digit number

So, let assume three digit number be `xyz`.

Now, as given tens digit is 2 greater than the unit digit.

∴ y= 2+z

Next, the hundred digit one greater than the tens digit.

∴x= 1+y

The sum of the tens and the hundreds digits is three times the units digit.

∴x+y= 3z

Now, substituting the value in the equation.

x+y= 3z

⇒ (1+y)+y= 3\times (y-2)

solving it to get value of y

⇒ 2y+1= 3y-6

⇒-y= -7

∴ y=7

Next, finding value of z

y= 2+z

substituting the value of y and subtracting both side by 2

∴ z= 7-2= 5

Last, finding the value of x

x=1+y

substituting the value of y

∴ x= 8

xyz= 875

A bus covers a distance of 2.45 km in 2 min. What is the speed of bus?
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

The speed of the bus is 74.242 kilometers per hour.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let suppose that bus runs at constant speed and that speed is measured in kilometers per hour. Then, the speed of the bus (v), in kiometers per hour, is determined by following kinematic expression:

v = \frac{s}{t} (1)

Where:

s - Travelled distance, in kilometers.

t - Time, in hours.

If we know that s = 2.45\,km and t = 0.033\,h, then the speed of the bus is:

v = \frac{s}{t}

v = 74.242\,\frac{km}{h}

The speed of the bus is 74.242 kilometers per hour.
