It just depends but usually it is an inverse for the original equation that you were given
C. the values can be added after making a conversion of units because they both measure length.
If we want to simplify Algebraic Fractions:
We have to take a look at the numerator and the denominator
Why? Because to simplify we need to have a common multiple.
When we find the common multiple, we now know by which factor we have to break down the fraction in the numerator and the denominator
I have some examples attached below for help.
Given:
Initial number of bacteria = 3000
With a growth constant (k) of 2.8 per hour.
To find:
The number of hours it will take to be 15,000 bacteria.
Solution:
Let P(t) be the number of bacteria after t number of hours.
The exponential growth model (continuously) is:
Where, is the initial value, k is the growth constant and t is the number of years.
Putting in the above formula, we get
Taking ln on both sides, we get
Therefore, the number of bacteria will be 15,000 after 0.575 hours.
I am pretty sure that the answer is the first one but I’m not 100%
