It takes 40 minutes for 8 people to paint 4 walls. how many minutes does it take 10 people to paint 7 walls?
timurjin [86]
Its not 70 its 56, because you have to see how many minutes it takes for 1 to do 4 walls which would be 40*8.
Then you have to see if how many minutes its take a person to do one wall which is 8*40/4 from getting the amount of the 1 person doing 4 walls and get 80.
Then you need to see how many walls a person can paint 7 walls out of 10 people. So, we know how many minutes for each wall which is 80 and then multiply it by 7 to get 560 and divide it by 10 to get a product of 56.

Mumz [18]
<h2><u>Q</u><u>u</u><u>e</u><u>s</u><u>t</u><u>i</u><u>o</u><u>n</u>:-</h2>

What is the value of this expression when c = -4 and d = 10 ? \frac{1}{4} (c³ + d²)

<h2><u>A</u><u>n</u><u>s</u><u>w</u><u>e</u><u>r</u>:-</h2>

<h3>Given:-</h3>

\frac{1}{4} (c³ + d²) where c = -4 and d = 10

<h3>To Find:-</h3>

The value of the expression \frac{1}{4} (c³ + d²)

<h2>Solution:-</h2>

\frac{1}{4} (c³ + d²) [Given expression]

Now, putting the value of c = -4 and d = 10 , we get,

\frac{1}{4} { (-4)³ + (10)² }

\frac{1}{4} ( -64 + 100 )

\frac{1}{4} ( 36 )

\frac{1}{4} × 36

Tricia is going to write Patterns A, B, and C using the rule add 15. The first
8_murik_8 [283]

Answer:

The answer is "Pattern B showed number 40; each pattern is also increased as per the rule".

Step-by-step explanation:

In every sequence pattern, it recalls that rule, it adds 15 in this need to build from the specified initial estimate each sequence.

In Pattern A.

5+20+35+50+......

In Pattern B.

10+25+40+55+70+.....

In Pattern C.

15+30+45+60....

In this, pattern option B is correct because it will give 40.
