Answer:

Explanation:

Immunity to a disease is achieved through the presence of antibodies to that disease in a person's system. Antibodies are proteins produced by the body to neutralize or destroy toxins or disease-carrying organisms. Antibodies are disease-specific. Viruses make us sick by killing cells or disrupting cell function. Our bodies often respond with fever (heat inactivates many viruses), the secretion of a chemical called interferon (which blocks viruses from reproducing), or by marshaling the immune system's antibodies and other cells to target the invader. A vaccine works by training the immune system to recognize and combat pathogens, either viruses or bacteria. To do this, certain molecules from the pathogen must be introduced into the body to trigger an immune response. These molecules are called antigens, and they are present on all viruses and bacteria.

puteri [66]

Answer:

The drinking water in a location in Florida had a fall order and test and this happened due to the storm water runoff that had carried huge amounts of soil and minerals into it.

The solution for this problem is that the people of that local area should practice afforestation.

Explanation:

Afforestation is defined as a process of planting more and more trees in an area. The plants are helpful for the people and environment in many ways. The most important thing is that the plant reduces the soil erosion in an area.

The root of the plant and small hub tends to hold up the soil and prevent them to flow away from the high speed runoff water into the water body.

Also it provides the favorable conditions for more animals and birds. It also provide fresh air to the local people to inhale and utilizes all the carbon dioxide.

Which process transfers heat from inside Earth to its surface? Convection currents in mantle Pulling away of tectonic plates Dra
kondor19780726 [428]

Answer:

Convection currents in the mantle

Explanation:

Our current laws of Physics recognize that heat is transferred by one of ...

 • conduction
 • convection
 • radiation.

Radiation is a mechanism for transferring heat through space. That mechanism doesn't really apply inside the "solid" Earth. While a certain amount of heat is transferred by conduction, the rock making up the bulk of the Earth is a poor conductor of heat.

The majority of the heat is transferred by the hot rock physically moving from the center of the earth toward the surface in the process called convection.
