Answer: The mass of chloroform will be 75 g.

Explanation:-

Density is defined as the mass contained per unit volume.

Density=\frac{mass}{Volume}

Given : Mass of chloroform = ?

Volume of chloroform = 50cm^3

Density of chloroform = 1.5g/cm^3

Putting in the values we get:

1.5g/cm^3=\frac{mass}{50cm^3}

mass=75g

Thus mass of chloroform is 75 g.

Density = mass / volume

1.5 = m / 50.0

m = 1.5 x 50.0

m = 75 g

hope this helps!
