9) 6a² + 3 = 435<br> How to solve this equation by taking square root?
WITCHER [35]

6a² + 3 = 435

First subtract 3 from both sides:

6a^2 = 432

Divide both sides by 6:

a^2 = 432/6

a^2 = 72

Now take the square root of both sides to get a:

a = √72

The weight of water is 62 1/2 lb per cubic foot. Water that weighs 350 lb will fill how many cubic feet?
valentinak56 [21]

The question is worded incorrectly.  It should say the DENSITY of water is 62 1/2 lbs per cubic foot.  Divide the weight by the density to get volume.

(150 lbs) / (62.5 lbs/ft3) = ? ft3 (the two 3's are exponents. so it'd be ft then an exponent of 3.)

Please help ONLY ONE QUESTION !!
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

slope = - 4, y- intercept = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

y = - 4x + 9 is in slope- intercept form

with slope m = - 4 and y- intercept c = 9

A proportional relationship has the form

y = mx

y = - 4x + 9 is not in this form

Hence the relationship is not proportional

Answer:

4i*sqrt(3)

Step-by-step explanation:

Break into prime factors.

48:2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3

sqrt(- 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3) for every pair of factors take 1 out of the brackets and throw the other one away.

2 * 2 sqrt(-3)        The square root of a minus is i

2 * 2 * i * sqrt(3)

4i * sqrt(3)  Answer
