The answer is A because when you do y2 - y1 / x2- x1 you are doing 18-7/ 4- (-2) and 18-7 is 11 and 4-(-2) is 6 so your answer will be 11/6 which is A

The two coins chosen have to be a quarter and a penny. That leaves you with three pennies. You originally had 14 coins. You took out two you now have 12.

identify the type i error and the type ii error that corresponds to the given hypothesis. the proportion of people who write wit
djverab [1.8K]

Type I error is:

" Reject the claim that the proportion of people who write with their left hand is 0.29 when the proportion is actually 0.29 "

Type II error is:

"Fail to reject the claim that the proportion of people who write with their left hand is 0.29 when the proportion is actually different from 0.29 "

What is proportion?

An equation in which two ratios are made equal is called a proportion. For instance, you could write the ratio as 1: 3 (for every one boy, there are three girls), which means that 14 of the population is made up of boys and 34 of the population is made up of girls.

In Statistics, a type I error is the rejection of a true null hypothesis

and a type II error is the non-rejection of a false null hypothesis

Given that p = 0.29 is accepted

Now type I error is

C. Reject the claim that the proportion of people who write with their left hand is 0.29 when the proportion is actually 0.29

i.e. (false positive)

and type II error here is

B. Fail to reject the claim that the proportion of people who write with their left hand is 0.29 when the proportion is actually different from 0.29.

What is 53,274 in expanded form?
sweet [91]

Answer:

50,000 + 3,000 + 200 + 70 + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Expand. Set all non-zero digits by itself:

53,274 = 50,000 + 3,000 + 200 + 70 + 4

Remember to fill in 0 for all digits. They must keep their value.

Plot a graph for the following data recorded for an object falling from rest
shusha [124]
 1. The kind of curve obtained is linear.
 2. The relationship between the variables is direct variation.
 3. After 4.5 seconds, I expect the velocity to be equal to 140 ft/s.
 4. The amount of time required for the object to attain a speed of 100 ft/s is 3.2 seconds.

What is a graph?

A graph can be defined as a type of chart that's commonly used to graphically represent data on both the horizontal and vertical lines of a Cartesian coordinate, which are the x-axis and y-axis.

In this exercise, you're required to plot a graph for the data (velocity and time) recorded for an object that is falling from rest.

Based on the graph for the data (see attachment), we can logically deduce the following points:

 • The kind of curve obtained is linear.
 • The relationship between the variables is direct variation.
 • After 4.5 seconds, I expect the velocity to be equal to 140 ft/s.
 • The amount of time required for the object to attain a speed of 100 ft/s is 3.2 seconds.
