Ohm's Law => V = I/R where
V stands for voltage,
I stands for Current
R stands for resistance.

ATQ
we know V = 9 volts
and R = 1.5 ohm's
so we need to find I.

Lets modify our formula little bit
we know V = IR  which we can write as I = V/R
so lets substitute the values in the formula.
I = 9/1.5
I = 6 A

Correct Option is A.

Ian walks 2 km to his best friend’s house, then walks 0.5 km to the library. He then makes a 2.5 km walk home. The entire walk t
Sonbull [250]

Average speed = (total distance covered) / (time to cover the distance)

Ian's total distance = (2km + 0.5km + 2.5km) = 5 km

Ian's total time = 3 hours

Average speed = (5km) / (3 hours)

Average speed = 1.66 km/hr

A crate resting on a horizontal floor (\muμs = 0.61, \muμk = 0.3 ) has a horizontal force F = 49 Newtons applied to the right. T
Darya [45]

Answer:

a = 7.80 m/s²

Explanation:

given,

μs = 0.61

μk = 0.3

F = 49 N

we know,

F = μs m g

m = \dfrac{F}{\mu_s\ g}

m = \dfrac{49}{0.61 \times 9.81}

m = 8.19\ kg

now when the block start moving

F - F_k = F_{net}

F - F_k = ma

a = \dfrac{F}{m}-\dfrac{F_k}{m}

a = \dfrac{F}{m}-\dfrac{\mu_k m g}{m}

a = \dfrac{88}{8.19}-0.3\times 9.8

a = 7.80 m/s²

A car starts from rest and travels for 5.8 s with a uniform acceleration of 1.6 m/s² in the negative direction. What is the fina
elena-s [515]

Answer:

Final velocity of the car will be -9.28 m/sec

Explanation:

We have given that the car starts from the rest so initial velocity of the car u = 0 m /sec

Acceleration of the car a=1.6m/sec^2 in negative direction so acceleration will be a=-1.6m/sec^2

From first equation of motion we know that

v = u+at

So v=0+(-1.6)\times 5.8=-9.28m/sec

So final velocity will be -9.28 m/sec

3. A 0.35 kg puck slides across the ice with an average force of friction of 0.15 N acting on it. It slides 82 m before coming t
sattari [20]

Answer:

Work done is 12.3 J

Explanation:

We have,

Mass of puck, m = 0.35 kg

Force of friction acting on the puck when it slides is 0.15 N

Distance travelled by the puck is 82 m.

It is required to find the work done on the puck. Finally the puck comes to rest and the force of friction is acting on it. It means the applied force is 0.15 N. Work done is given by

W=Fd\\\\W=0.15\times 82\\\\W=12.3\ J

The work done on the puck is 12.3 J.
