Answer:

A simulation of a statistical process is any other experiment in which the probabilities are the same as in the simulated process.

For example, the probability in where a student chooses salad is a 33%, so you can simulate this by throwing a dice, where each number of the dice has an even 1/6 probability of showing up, so for example, if you choose a random student, you can throw a dice, if the results are 1 or 2 (the probability of this is 1/6 + 1/6 = 1/3 = 0.33 or 33% in percent form), the student will choose salad, if the results are 3, 4, 5 or 6, the student will choose grilled chicken.

In this case, in 33% of the throws, the student will have a 1 or 2 (chose a salad) and in the other 66% the student will have the other numbers, so he will choose a grilled chicken.

We have to find midpoint M of the diagonal AC (or BD, there is no difference) so:

M=\left(\dfrac{x_A+x_C}{2},\dfrac{y_A+y_C}{2}\right)=\left(\dfrac{-2+4}{2},\dfrac{4+(-2)}{2}\right)=\left(\dfrac{2}{2},\dfrac{2}{2}\right)=\\\\\\=\boxed{(1,1)}

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Those standing is the same thing as people who didn't have seats.

Those standing = the total number of people attending - those seated.

Those standing = 5609 - 3800
