Nondisjunction is defined as the failure of the chromosomes to seperate during cell division. An animal with a haploid number of 6 (diploid number of 12) undergoes meiosis, and at the meiosis II (cells are already haploid from the meiosis I), nondisjunction occurs. The mature ovum will contain 6+1 chromosomes (n+1) because there is an extra chromosome from the nondisjunction. The second polar body will contain 5 chromosomes (normal would be 6) because the second polar body did not receive that extra chromosome due to nondisjunction. In the event of fertilization of the abnormal ovum with a normal sperm, the zygote will be a diploid (12 chromosomes) normally but since the ovum as an extra chromosome from the nondisjunction then the zygote will have an extra chromosome (13 chromosomes). One pair of chromosomes has an extra single chromosome and this is called a trisomy.
The answer is bioenergetics
Definition of Bioenergetics: the study of the transformation of energy in living organisms.
Hope this helped! :)
Balance would be the answer to this question. To walk on a four inch beam you would need the skill of balance.
Answer:
As an effect on the body and blood pressure, during the exercise systolic pressure increases, diastolic pressure remains constant (option C).
Explanation:
During physical exercise the demand for oxygen and glucose increases, so there are changes in vital signs.
Exercise in a healthy person increases systolic blood pressure as a result of increased heart rate and cardiac output. In contrast, diastolic blood pressure may remain stable, or decrease slightly, given the need to increase tissue perfusion.
Systolic blood pressure is the pressure of the blood vessels at the time of ventricular contraction and heartbeat.
Diastolic blood pressure is the reflection of the pressure of the blood wall when the heart is not contracting.
The other options do not correspond to the blood pressure response to physical exercise.
