Density = mass / volume so density = 62.5429 / 3.24 = 19.3 g/ml. This is the density of gold.

Explanation:

The given data is as follows.

          Volume = 3.24 ml,      mass = 62.5429 g

As we know that density is the mass of object divided by the volume occupied by it.

Mathematically,     Density = \frac{mass}{volume}

Therefore, calculate the density of given unknown metal as follows.

               Density = \frac{mass}{volume}

                             = \frac{62.5429 g}{3.24 ml}

                             = 19.30 g/ml

Hence, density of the given unknown metal is 19.30 g/ml.

Gold is the element which has a density of 19.30 g/ml.

Thus, we can conclude that given unknown metal has a density of 19.30 g/ml and name of this metal is gold.

How many grams of methane gas (CH4) need to be combusted to produce 12.5 L water vapor at 301 K and 1.1 atm? Show all of the wor
tangare [24]
Answer is: 4.45 grams of methane gas need to be combusted.
Balanced chemical reaction: CH₄ + 2O₂ → CO₂ + 2H₂O.
Ideal gas law: p·V = n·R·T.
p = 1.1 atm.
T = 301 K.
V(H₂O) = 12.5 L.
R = 0,08206 L·atm/mol·K.
n(H₂O) = 1.1 atm · 12.5 L ÷ 0,08206 L·atm/mol·K · 301 K.
n(H₂O) = 0.556 mol.
From chemical reaction: n(H₂O) : n(CH₄) = 2 : 1.
n(CH₄) = 0.556 mol ÷ 2 = 0.278 mol.
m(CH₄) = 0.278 mol · 16 g/mol.
m(CH₄) = 4.448 g.

Carbon, Nitrogen, and Oxygen all have the same number of energy levels because periods (rows) tell the amount of energy levels an element has.

What are the roles of producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers, tertiary consumers for the trophic levels in the energy
Nesterboy [21]
     This question is more for Biology than Chemistry, but the role of producers is to make energy (food) to be consumed. In a pyramid diagram, the producers would be at the bottom. Now going up the pyramid, the primary conumers are the first to consume producers and obtain energy from them. As you go up the pyramid, the secondary consumers will consume the primary consumers as a way to obtain energy, and the same goes for tertiary consumers towards secondaries.

As you go up the energy pyramid, you will notice a trend that there is less energy being obtained from each consumer. In other words, the producers will ALWAYS have more energy than the tertiary consumers.

I hope this answers your question.
