Mikhall’s age = 18
Gabrielle = 36
18+36 =54

Mikhal = m

Gabrielle = 2m (2times Mikhall age)

m+2m = 54
3m = 54
Divide both sides by 3
m= 18

2m = 36

A pet store holds training classes for dogs. The store has two different training programs. The first program charges a $35 memb
GrogVix [38]

The programs cost the same for 7 classes.

Given, no. of classes is represented by c, no. of dogs is represented by d, no. of hours is represented by h, the no. of programs is represented by p and the total cost is represented by t.

The first program charges $35 membership fee and $5 for each class.

The second program charges only $10 for each class.

Now the total cost say t_{1}, for first program can be written in equation form as,

t_{1} =35+5c,  here c is the no. of classes.

Similarly, the total cost say t_{2} , for second program can be written in equation form as,

t_{2} =10c.

We have to find out the no. of classes for which the two programs cost the same.

according to the question,

t_{1} =t_{2}

35+5c=10c\\10c-5c=35\\5c=35\\c=7

Hence for 7 of classes the programs cost the same.

The regular price of a shirt is $15. Natalie bought it on sale for 0.9 times its regular price. Then the sale price was multipli
bezimeni [28]

Answer: $14.31

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming it is the final price Natalie paid that you want:

Selling price = 0.9 * 15

= $13.50

To cater for tax it was then multiplied by 1.06:

= 13.5 * 1.06

= $14.31

Someone please help.
Alexxandr [17]

Hi there!

f(x)+f(x+1)=4f(x)

There are 3 parts to this equation:

f(x)

f(x+1)

4f(x)

We must first determine these three parts separately.

<u>1) f(x)</u>

We're given that  f(x)=3^x:

⇒ f(x)=3^x:

<u>2) f(x+1)</u>

Now, we must find f(x+1). To do so, add 1 to x in the original function f(x)=3^x:

⇒ f(x+1)=3^x^+^1

<u>3) 4f(x)</u>

To find 4f(x), multiply the original function f(x)=3^x by 4:

4f(x)=4*3^x:

<u>4) Put it all together</u>

Now, plug each of the three parts into the equation f(x)+f(x+1)=4f(x):

f(x)+f(x+1)=4f(x)

3^x+3^x^+^1=4*3^x\\3^x+3^x*3=4*3^x

Factor the left side

3^x*(1+3)=4*3^x

Divide both sides by 3^x

1+3=4\\4=4

Because this equation is true, f(x)+f(x+1)=4f(x) is therefore true.

I hope this helps!
