Answer: Volume of lid = 29.44 cubic cm and surface area = 40.41 cubic cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: For  lid of the spherical shaped bottle,

Diameter = 5 cm

Height = 4.5 cm

Radius = Half of diameter = 2.5 cm

Volume of cone = \dfrac13\pi r^2 h

Volume of lid  =\dfrac13(3.14)(2.5)^2(4.5)=29.4375\approx29.44\text{ cm}^3

Surface area of cone = \pi r\sqrt{h^2+r^2}  [as lide has no base we don't include area of base.]

Surface area of lid = (3.14)(2.5)\sqrt{(2.5)^2+(4.5)^2}= 7.85\sqrt{26.5}\approx40.41\text{ cm}^3

Hence, volume of lid = 29.44 cubic cm and surface area = 40.41 cubic cm.

|6-27| how the answer this question
sweet [91]

Answer:

First notice that they’re asking for the absolute value of the equation.

The absolute value is how far that number is from 0.

Basically it’s the number without a negative sign.

ok so 6-27 = -21

The product for 6-27 (21) is 21 spaces away from 0.

|6-27| = 21

21 is the answer to your question.

Hope this helped and pls mark me brainliest if it did :)

HELP PLEASE!! TON OF POINTS. RIGHT ANSWERS ONLY REWARDED. MATH GENIUSES?
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

The graph is shifted 1 unit right

The graph is shifted 2 units down

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given

Parent function as

f(x)=2^{x+3}-3

New function as

g(x)=2^{x+2}-1

we can also write as

g(x)=2^{x+3-1}-3+2

We can see that

1 is subtracted to x-value

and 2 is added to y-value

So, f(x) is shifted right by 1 unit

and

f(x) is shifted up by 2 unit

For a...

Split the figure into 2 different shapes. We’re gonna split it where the 19 line is. So now you have sort of a square and a rectangle. You need to find the area of each. If the line in bottom is 35 and the rectangle top line is 19, just subtract 19 from 35 and you get the bottom line of your square. Same for the 25 on the left of the whole figure. Do the same with figure band divide where the 7 line is. Find the area of each
