I dont know how to write this mathematically but i'll try-
64 is 66 2/3 of 96
set up the proportion 64 over x = 66 2/3 over 100
cross multiply and youll have 6400 and 66 2/3 x
to find x, divide 6400 by 66 2/3 (aka 200/3)
you should get 96
hope i helped
(the answer can't be less than 64 since 64 is only part of the whole number)

6n + 5 < 20

Subtract both sides 5

6n + 5 - 5 < 20 - 5

6n < 15

Divide both sides by 6

6n ÷ 6 < 15 ÷ 6

n < 15/6

n < 3×5/3×2

n < 5/2

n < 2.5

n《 2

Thus the largest value of n is :

In a triangle HIJ, i = 6.6 inches, j = 6.4 inches and Angle,H=62º. Find the length of h, to the
sweet [91]

Answer:

7.6 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

We solve the above question using the Law of Cosines.

The formula is given as:

h² = i² + j² - 2ij Cos H

h = √i² + j² - 2ij Cos H

From the above question:

i = 6.6 inches

j = 6.4 inches

Length h = ?

Angle H=62º.

Hence:

h= √6.6² + 6.4² - 2 × 6.6 × 64 × Cos 62

h = √43.56 + 40.96 - 84.48 × Cos 62

h = 7.64292 inches

Approximately to the nearest tenth, Length h = 7.6 inches

Instructions: Find the measure of the indicated angle to the nearest degree.
sweet-ann [11.9K]

The measure of the indicated angle to the nearest degree is 47°.

What is the measure of the angle?

Given the data in the question;

 • Adjacent = 36
 • Hypotenuse = 53
 • Angle θ = ?

From trigonometric ratio, Cosθ = Adjacent / Hypotenuse

Cosθ = 36/53

θ = cos⁻¹( 36/53 )

θ = 47°

Therefore, the measure of the indicated angle to the nearest degree is 47°.
