Answer:

Face value of bond = 100

Years of maturity = 4

Market value = 106

Coupon frequency = 2

Semi annual coupon = 12

1. Current yield = Semi-annual * Coupon frequency / Market value

Current yield = 12 * 2 / 106

Current yield = 0.2264150943396226

Current yield =  22.64%

2. YTM = 2*Rate(Years of maturity*Coupon frequency, Semi annual, - market value, FV, 0)

YTM = 2*Rate(4, 2, 12, -106, 100,0)

YTM = 0.2168

YTM = 21.68%

3. Capital yield = Current yield - YTM

Capital yield = 21.68% - 22.64%

Capital yield = -0.96%

vova2212 [387]

Answer:

The total opportunity cost of investing in the business  is explained below:

Explanation:

Opportunity cost is also known as alternative cost, the cost incurred from giving up one benefit for an alternative. Kelly withdrew 1000$ from his account, which was giving him a 3% profit annually, and the total opportunity cost of withdrawing 1000$ is  30$ annually. Similarly, he withdrew another 2000$ at 7% interest rate that is 140$which he has to pay annually.

30$ + 140$ =170$

In order to be the basis for a firm's superior performance, a bundle of resources must be valuable, rare, and imitable.
frozen [14]

Answer:

The statement is: False.

Explanation:

A bundle of resources has three characteristics: valuable (<em>the resource helps the company to pursue its objectives and is priceless for consumers</em>), rare (<em>limited competition</em>), and inimitable (<em>resource is not easy to reproduce by the firm's closest competitors or imitating it is expensive</em>).

Being<em> imitable </em>is the opposite of what a bundle of resources should be.
