Applying the inscribed angle theorem, we have the following measures:

a. Measure of angle RQT = 79°

b. Measure of angle QTS = 51°

What is the Inscribed Angle Theorem?

Based on the inscribed angle theorem, the measure of an inscribed angle (i.e. angle RQT and angle QTS) of a circle is half the measure of each of their respective intercepted arcs (arc RQT and arc QRS).

Given the following:

Measure of arc RQT = 202°

Measure of angle QRS = 129°

a. Find the measure of angle RQT:

Measure of angle RQT = 1/2(360 - 202) [inscribed angle theorem]

Measure of angle RQT = 1/2(158)

Measure of angle RQT = 79°

b. Find the measure of angle QTS:

Measure of angle QTS = 1/2(360 - 2(measure of angle QRS)) [inscribed angle theorem]

Measure of angle QTS = 1/2(360 - 2(129))

Measure of angle QTS = 1/2(102)

Measure of angle QTS = 51°

In summary, applying the inscribed angle theorem, we have the following measures:

a. Measure of angle RQT = 79°

b. Measure of angle QTS = 51°

Which inequality shows twelve times the sum of three plus c is greater than 27?
snow_lady [41]
Hello!

You can break this down

12 times the sum of 3 and c

This can be written as 12(3 + c)

is greater than 27

12( 3 + c) > 27

This can be simplified to 36 + 12c > 27

The answer is 12(3 + c) > 27 or 36 + 12c > 27

Hope this helps!

if 99 certons of milk was sold and 45 of them were regular flavor what is the ratio of chocolate milk sold to regular milk sold+
andreyandreev [35.5K]
Well 99 cartons sold, and 45/99 were normal
therefore 99-45 = 54
the ratio is 54:45 if they ask for chocolate to normal
wording of the question is crucial
I'm not sure if you can cancel the ration down to 6:5, you probably can
