Answer: x = 2

Simplify and Distribute

(−5)(4x)+(−5)(−2)=(−2)(3)+(−2)(6x)

−20x+10=−6+−12x

−20x+10=−12x−6

Adding 12x both sides.

−20x+10+12x=−12x−6+12x

−8x+10=−6

Subtract 10 both sides

−8x+10−10=−6−10

-8x = -16

Then divide both sides by 8

-8x/8 = -16/8

x=2

Zadania są na zdjęciach. Pls mam z tym czas do jutra!!!
ira [324]

p + 2 = 5 ==> p = 3

3p + 2 = p + 3 ==> 2p = 2 ==> p = 1

3k + 5 = 2k + 2 ==> k = -3 (niemożliwe; lewa strona wagi ma większą wagę)

2w + 10 = 4w + 7 ==> 2w = 3 ==> w = 3/2

d + 9 = 3d + 2 ==> 2d = 7 ==> d = 7/2

W drugim zadanie każda litera reprezentuje wagę jednego z obiektów. Na przykład 3k + 4 reprezentuje całkowitą wagę 3 kół i 4 ciężarów, każdy o wadze 1 kg.

Trzecie zadanie to tylko połączenie dwóch pozostałych.

A dog owner wants to use 200 ft of fencing to enclose the greatest possible area for his dog. he wants the fenced area to be rec
Fiesta28 [93]
Perimeter (P) = 2 · Length(L) + 2 · Width (W) → P = 2L + 2W
Solve for either L or W (I am solving for L).
200 - 2W = 2L
(200 - 2W)/2 = L
100 - W = L

Area (A) = Length (L) · Width (W)
              = (100 - W) · W
              = 100W - W²

Find the derivative, set it equal to 0, and solve:
dA/dW = 100 - 2W
     0    = 100 - 2W
     W  = 50

refer to the equation above for L:
100 - W = L
100 - 50 = L
        50  = L

Dimensions for the maximum Area are 50 ft x 50 ft

It is the first one because fist you reflect it to the right across the y axis, then you reflect it down across the x axis, and last but not least, you reflect it left across the y axis where it is now

hope this is helpful! :)
