The correct answer should be kinetic molecular velocity. Which is a complex term for the speed of molecules. The faster the molecules move the more liquid the chemical will be, with the fastest being gaseous molecules. The slowest ones are things that are solid. This is easily observed on water that is slowest when ice and fastest when water vapor.

Object A travels at a constant velocity of 2.0 m/s right, and object B travels in the same direction at a
pashok25 [27]

==> Object A travels for 60 seconds before Object B starts out.

==> Object A moves at 2 m/s.

==> So Object A has a lead of 120 m when Object B starts out.

==> Object B moves at 3 m/s . . . 1 m/s faster than Object A.

==> So Object B catches up on Object A by 1 m every second.

==> Object B closes up Object A's lead of 120 m in 120 seconds.

Unrestrained occupants of a car keep moving during the time the car takes to stop due to ________.
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

C.inertia

Explanation:

Inertia is a property of matter to maintain its state of motion.

In this case, if the car was moving along with the people in it when the car stopped, the inertia of the people will cause them to continue moving.

This is why in a crash a person can be shot from the car, due to the inertia he has from his previous state of motion.

The complete sentence is: Unrestrained occupants of a car keep moving during the time the car takes to stop due to inertia. (option C)
