Roast beef is on sale at the deli for $6.78 per pound. How much will it cost to buy 1.5 pounds of roast beef ? Please show your work so i can see how you got it and how i can get the right answer next time. Thank you for your help and time.

So what you want to do is divide 6.78 by 2 to find one half of a pound. Then once you do that add your answer to 6.78 to equal one pound and a half. Hope this helps!

$6.78 + $3.39 = $10.17
