Answer: 9 = 6t

how many t's are there in the model? there are 6 ts. 6t makes 9, so 9 is equal to 6t.

ps. the equation could also be 6t = 9 but its basically the same thing (:

12/60 in lowest terms
Luda [366]
Fractions can be simplified by making sure that the numerator and the denominator cannot be divided by any number.

The given 12/60 is very obvious that it is divisible by 2.
After dividing by 2, you will get 6/30.
It seems it is not in simplest form. It is divisible by 3.
Dividing the numerator and denominator by 3 then you will get
2/15.

So the lowest term is 2/15.

Please help explanation if possible
egoroff_w [7]

Answer: x = 2 and y = -4

x + 2y = -6

x = -6-2y

Putting this in value of x in

6x + 2y = 4

6(-6-2y) + 2y = 4

-36-12y+2y = 4

-10y = 4+36

y = 40/(-10)

y = -4

Now putting this value of y in

x + 2y = -6

x + 2(-4) = -6

x -8 = -6

x = -6+8

x = 2

Therefore x = 2 and y = -4

If we put these values we can check this

x + 2y = -6

2 + 2(-4) = -6

2 -8 = -6

-6 = -6

Answer to:
(a - 3b)(2a - 5b)

distributive form
Alina [70]
When I look at a problem like this, I think of the FOIL method. This method states "You multiply integers in the order of First, Outside, Inside, Last, and then add them together"

(a -3b)(2a - 5b)

First --- 2a * a
Out  --- (-5b) * a
In     --- (-3b) * 2a
Last --- (-3b) * (-5b)

2a² - 5ab -6ab + 15b²

2a² - ab + 15b²

This would be your answer in simplest form!

An art exhibit at a local museum features several similarly shaped metal cubes welded together to make a sculpture. The smallest
borishaifa [10]

Answer: Length of other edges will be 7.5 inches, 8 inches, 9 inches, 10.5 inches, 12 inches.

Explanation:

Length of smallest cube = 6 inches

Ratio of similarity to the smallest cube is given as follows:

1) 1.25

So, length of other edge will be

1.25\times 6=7.5\ inches

2) 4:3

So, the length of other edge will be

\frac{4}{3}\times 6=8\ inches

3) 1.5

So, length of other edge will be

1.5\times 6=9\ inches

4) 7:4

So, length of other edge will be

\frac{7}{4}\times 6=10.5\ inches

5) 2

So, length of other edge will be

2\times 6=12\ inches
