Constructively critique the way in which the municipality manage waste in your community (five points). please recommend a corre
LekaFEV [45]

The ways in which the municipality manage waste in our community are:

1. Municipality has alloted a community bin. To discard all the wastes in a particular dustbin, mixes both the biodegradable and non-biodegrabale wastes. Therefore, we must keep seperate dustbins for such wastes.

2.  Instead of throwing the biodegradable waste in the dustbin, we can dig a pit in the ground and throw the wastes like vegetable peels in this pit. This process degrades such wastes by the action of microorganisms and can make manure out of it.

3. In many areas, plastic bags are still used.

Strict action should be taken by the municipality for using plastic bags. We must carry our own jute or cloth bag to carry items.

4. Industrial wastes should not be discarded in the water bodies. The wastes pollutes the water and also chokes the aquatic animals to death.

5. Hospital wastes should be discarded separately as the used things may lead to spread of a disease. One should ensure to decontaminate the waste before throwing in the dustbin.

Yesterday Kaiulani consumed 2100 kcalories worth of food that contained 60 g of protein. How did her protein intake compare with
Fed [463]

Answer:

Her protein intake is within the recommended range for protein.

Explanation:

Protein along with other macronutrients like carbohydrates and fats is an important part of our diet. It is made of amino acids and helps in muscle building, production of hormones and enzymes and maintaining the immune system. Although not the major source of calories, protein also contains four calories per gram.

According to US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), if a person has 2000 calorie diet they should consume at least 50 grams of protein which means at least 10% of calories should come from protein. The healthy range of calories from proteins is 12 to 20%. Kaiulani consumed 60 gm of protein in 2100 calories diet which means total 240 calories or 11.42% of total calories were obtained from protein. This number lies within the recommended range for protein.

Which of the following signs is a likely indicator of cardiac arrest in an unresponsive patient?
Sphinxa [80]

Cardiac arrest is when it has completely stopped. It’s different from afib or vfib. So when you have a slow weak pulse, you still have a pulse there. So that’s wrong. Cyanosis is lack of oxygen to the body. Agonal gasps (if I remember it correctly) is the body letting air out and is definitely a sign of cardiac arrest. And again, if the pulse is still present, it may develop into cardiac arrest, but is not yet. So your answer is C. Agonal gasps
