In a coordinate point, the values would go (x,y). Substitute the x and y values from the coordinate points into the equation given.
8(3)+B(4)=40

Multiply 8x3
24+B(4)=40

Subtract 24 from both sides

4B=16

Divide the whole equation by 4

B=4

The ratio of girls to boys in the photography club is 7 to 3. Which ratio could represent the members of the photography club?
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

Answer:

C) 21 girls : 9 boys

Step-by-step explanation:

You just have to compare the ratio you're given to the answers and see if the ratios from the answers match up to the ratio you were given. The reason C is the answer is because if you divide by 3 in the ration, it is the same as the ratio you were given, 7:3

Answer:

  y = -(x+1)^2 +3

Step-by-step explanation:

Translating f(x) left by 1 unit replaces x with x+1.

Translating f(x) up by 3 units replaces f(x) with f(x)+3.

Reflecting f(x) over the x-axis replaces f(x) with -f(x).

__

When y = x^2 is reflected over the x-axis, it becomes ...

  y = -x^2

When y = -x^2 is translated 1 unit left, it becomes ...

  y = -(x +1)^2

When y = -(x+1)^2 is translated 3 units up, it becomes ...

  y = -(x +1)^2 +3

Answer:

angle ABD =55 degree

angle BCD= 125 degree

Step-by-step explanation:

angle ABD and angle DBC are supplementary angles.

Hence, angle ABD +angle DBC = 180 --equation 1

angle ABD = (2x+15) ---equation 2

angle BCD = (4x+45) ------equation 3

ABD+DBC=180

(2x+15) + ( 4x+45 ) = 180

2x+4x+15+45=180

6x+60=180

6x=180-60

6x=120

x=120/6=20

angle ABD= 2x+15= 2(20) +15

                              =40+15= 55 degree

angle BCD= 4x+45 = 4(20) +45

                                = 80+45= 125 degree

Hence, angle ABD =55 degree

            angle BCD= 125 degree

Hope this helps.
