Chloroplasts are organelles that are filled with a green substance known as Chlorophyll. Chloroplasts are what convert water and sunlight into sugar/food, in a process known as photosynthesis. Plants can't hunt or gather food, so they make their own through chloroplast's. The Mitochondria are the powerhouses of cells.
