Answer:

obtuse scalene since 6 square plus 5 square is 36+25= 61, and 8 squared is 64, so 61<64, and if the legs are less than the hypotenuse, it would be an obtuse triangle. all the side are also unequal so it's a scalene.

What is the area of the figure
Tomtit [17]
A²+b²=c²
a=b because it has 2 45° angles and one 90 so it is isosceles right triangle

∴ a² + a² = c²
2a²=24²
2a²=576
a²=288
a=√288
a=16.97056275

Therefore. With A=1/2bh
A=(1/2) * 16.97056275 * 16.97056275
   = (1/2) * 288
   = 144

144 ft²

The tires on your bicycle have a radius of 8 inches. How many rotations does each tire make when you travel 700 feet? Round your
Inessa [10]
"One rotation" would be the circumference of the wheel, which is

C = 2*pi*r, or  (here)  C = 2*pi*(8 inches) = 16*pi inches.

                                                                       1 ft
Convert this to feet:  16*pi inches  times  ---------------
                                                                   12 inches

Here "inches" cancels out and you are left with (4/3)pi ft.

So, one rotation of the wheel moves you and your bike forward (4/3)pi ft.

Divide this into 700 feet:

700 ft            2100
------------- = --------- rotations = 525 rotations (answer)
(4/3) pi ft        4
